Habitat For Humanity Tool Share

The recent devastating wildfires has left many in our community in need.  Here is one way we can help.

Habitat Friends –
Our ReStore and our Admin Office are still standing and we are thankful for the hard work of each and every member of the emergency response teams that worked tirelessly to save as much as possible. Much of our community is beyond recognition and hundreds of homes have been destroyed – thousands of lives have been impacted. Please know that as an organization, we are actively engaged in the recovery discussions and formulating ways that Habitat can support the immediate needs and long-term housing needs of our community.
For this moment and as an immediate need, we created a TOOL SHARE. We are accepting donations of items that impacted households can use during the recovery/clean-up process. Things that will help them as they look for sentimental/valuable items within the rubble.
We need shovels (all shapes and sizes), metal rakes, garden hoes, gloves, etc. We are currently accepting these items at our Habitat Admin Office (next door to the ReStore) 2201 S. Pacific Hwy Medford, OR 97501.
DONATION DAYS
Friday, Sept 11th from 10am to 4pm
Saturday, Sept 12th from 10am to 4pm
Out of concern for everyone’s safety we will not distribute these items until EMS has lifted evacuation orders and home sites have been deemed safe to return to.
